Psalms 11:1
In the Lord I take refuge.
How then can you say to me:
"Flee like a bird to your mountain.
MESSAGE
The Lord is reminding me again that He is my refuge, my shelter and my strong tower. People may fail me, disappointment me, frustrates me or even caused discouragement, but He will never ever hurt me. All I need to do is run towards Him and He will always have an open arms to accept me, to comfort me and to love me always.
PROMISE
7 For the Lord is righteous, he loves justice;
upright men will see his face.
COMMAND
WARNING
6 On the wicked he will rain
fiery coals and burning sukfur;
a scorching wind will be their lot.
APPLICATION
- Starting today, I will always seek God first in everything-in every decision I will make, in every plan I will have, in every pain and hurt I may face. I will always bring my Bible (not electronic but literally the Book) with me.
- I will start praying and looking for someone asides from my wife, Jennifer and my daughter Vianca who will honestly rebukes, corrects, reminds and asks me in my face if I seek God first through reading His Word regarding with my decision, plan and response from any situation that I may encounter and ask me to share the Word I received from the Lord.
- In one month time startting today, I will let someone to assess my improvement and change in this area. For now, I will ask my wife, Jennifer to do the assessment and then next month I will ask someone (I will pray for this person starting today) to do the assessment of myself.
