Dec. 9, 2012 God is my Success

Psalms 21:11

Though they plot evil against you 

and devise wicked schemes, 

they cannot succeed

MESSAGE

GOD is telling me that He is my success in everything.  People may forget my good deeds and even give back evil as a return of my good works to them, but today GOD is just telling me that any plan of the wicked again me will not succeed.  Lord God is affirming His great promise to me: He will neither leave me nor forsake me.  

PROMISE

2  You have granted him 

the desire of his heart 

and have not withheld the request of his lips.  

3 You welcomed him with rich blessings 

and placed a crown of pure gold on his head.  

4 He asked you for life, and you gave it to him— 

length of days, for ever and ever.

Dec. 8, 2012 Lord's Annointed

Psalms 20:6

Now I know that the  Lord  saves his anointed; 

he answers him from his holy heaven  

with the saving power of his right hand. 

MESSAGE

GOD is telling mo today that indeed when He appoints, He anoints!  Yes, the Lord us giving me assurance and confirming me that He will saves, saves and answers His Annointed.

Dec. 7, 2012 Nothing Is Impossible

Matthew 19:26

Jesus looked at them and said, 

“With man this is impossible, 

but with God all things are possible.” 

MESSAGE

God is telling me to trust even more because all things are possible with.  He is reminding me that nothing is hidden from.  I planned so many and many were not being tried because for me it is impossible but now God is saying, "yes it may be possible to you because you are just a man.  But give it to me and learn to trust me more because to me all things are possible."

Dec. 6, 2012 Take it Easy

 Genesis 18:14

Is anything too hard for the  Lord ?

MESSAGE

God is comforting me right now with everything I've been through for the past weeks.  He is telling me that He is in control.  He is removing all my doubts and fears in my heart.  He is strengthening my faith that though I may think that things will gets worse but He is affirming that He will put everything in proper and it will not be hard for Him to do for He is Lord.

1. Starting today, I will not think again what had happened last week but rather I will let God deal with it.  I will just remembered the lessons I've learned from it.  I believe it was God who allowed it to happened for me to learn and made me stronger.
2. Starting today, I will let God to deal with these people who lied and made false statement/testimony against me.  I know that God will reveal everything in the eyes of these people.
3. Starting today, I will stop thinking on how to defend myself.  I will just let God deal with it and with them and I know in God's perfect time and way, the truth will prevail.

Dec. 5, 2012 The Covenant of the Lord

Genesis 17:2 

I will confirm my covenant 

between me and you and 

will greatly increase your numbers.

MESSAGE

God is confirming His covenant with me-He will be my God and I will be His child.  He affirmed to me His promises to me and even the vision He gave to me in dream last year and the vision He gave to me last March 2012.  I believe it will come to pass as He confirmed it today that He will greatly increase my numbers.

PROMISE

6 I will make you very fruitful...

7 I will establish my covenant 

as an everlasting covenant between me and you 

and your descendants after you for the generations to come, 

to be your God and the God of your descendants after you.

APPLICATION

1. Starting today, I will always be careful in everything I do, say and think.  I will always desiring to please my God and to give Him the glory
2. Starting tomorrow, I will invite and share salvation to people for the fulfilment of the vision.
3. Starting today, I will persevere and stand strong in the Lord for every trials that will come along my Christian journey.  

Dec. 4, 2012 It is Always Good to Submit

 Genesis 16:9

Then the angel of the  Lord  told her,

 “Go back to your mistress 

and submit to her.”  

MESSAGE

God just rebuked me today and asking why I am having hard time or struggle to submit to His authority?  He is saying to me how could I say that I am submitting to Him if I am having hard time to submit to His appointed leaders.  He is reassuring me also that He has a perfect plan for everything and it will come to pass before my very eyes if I will learn how to submit to His appointed leaders.

10 The angel added, 

“I will so increase your descendants 

that they will be too numerous to count.”

APPLICATION

1. Starting today, I will start praying to God to heal me, the pain, hurt and negative that I saw from my leaders.  I will start thinking that those were just their weakness just like me who have  also many flaws that needs to be corrected and changed.
2. Starting today, I will not look on people, especially to my leaders.  I will submit to my leaders' authority.  I will always reminds myself that it is my responsibility not only to them as God's appointed but most especially to God who called and chose me to be under my leaders' authority.
3. Starting today, I will guard my thought and heart not to say any negative statement against them.  Instead, I will pray for myself to continue to submit to their authority as I also pray for them as my leaders.

God is reminding me His great promise to me-He is my Shield and my very great reward-so I should not be afraid!

Stay away from a foolish man, 

for you will not find knowledge on his lips. 

MESSAGE

The Lord is telling me today to be stay away from a foolish man.  He is telling me to be wise in talking with this kind of people.  He is also reminding me not be to influenced and led by this people because their words are destructive.

But those who plan what is good find love and faithfulness.

1. Starting today, I will not listen to those people who talk negatively against other people.  
2. Starting today,  I will not hanging out excessive time with "negative" people not unless I am the one handling the conversation.
3. Starting today, I will not agree to any negative comment/s, opinion/s or reaction/s people.  Instead, I will initiate giving advise to talk to the person involved.

God is reassuring me that He loved me and He will always will.  He is telling me to trust in Him always and not to forget how much He loves me-Jesus died for me!

Nov. 25, 2012 Forgive & Forget...No Regret

 

Psalms 7:14

He who is pregnant with evil

and conceives trouble gives birth to

disillusionment.

 

 

 

MESSAGE

The Lord is telling me to release all the pains and hurts that is still in my heart.  God is commanding me to forgive those people who hurted me and forget and learn from those pains and hurts.  He is assuring me that He will give me comfort and peace.

APPLICATION

1. Starting today, I will pray for myself to change my heart and be able to release the pains and hurts and accept the fact of what had happened in the past.  For now, this is all I can do-to pray!

 

 

Nov. 24, 2012 STOP Worrying!

 

Matthew 6:34

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow,

for tomorrow will worry about itself.

God is reminding me again not to worry about anything.  He is telling me to live day by day with Him-trusting Him, serving Him and loving Him.

against you because of me.  Rejoice and be glad,

MESSAGE

God is reminding me today that all the insults, persecutions and even false testimonies about me and my family is a blessing.  God is telling me today that I should rejoice and be glad if people are doing that to me because of Him.  He even compared me to His previous prophets who experienced the same and blessed because they stand firm in their faith.

1. Starting today, I will not feel bad and so much affected everytime people insult me, persecute me and gives false testimony about me and my family.  I will just trust the Lord that He will avenge for me and will show and reveal the truth.
2. Starting today, I will mahe a habbit to verbally Praise the Lord right away everytime I heard this negative statements address to me and my family.
3. Starting today, I will keep positive response to all negative ideas or thoughts or actions that people may display in front of me.  I will always wear SMILE in me no matter what because I together with my family were blessed!

Nov. 22, 2012 Anger Management

In your anger do not sin;

when you are on your beds,

search your hearts and be silent.

 

 

MESSAGE

Again, the Lord is telling me that to be mad is not sinning but its expression might be a sin.  He is asking me today to examine and search my thoughts and my heart if I was angry and how I handle this emotion. 

 

 

PROMISE

3 know that the Lord has set apart the godly

for himself;

the Lord will hear when I call to him.

5 Offer right sacrifices

and trust in the Lord.

1. Starting today, I will STOP overreacting in the situation that cause me angry.
2. Starting today, I will rather keep my mouth close if I know that I am still angry

Nov. 21, 2012 Love and Faithfulness

Proverbs 3:3-4

Let love and faithfulness never leave you;

bind them around your neck,

write them on the tablet of your heart.

Then you will win favor and a good name

in the sight of God and man.

 

 

MESSAGE

The Lord is teaching me today on how to win the favor of Him and of man.  He knows that I always seek favor of men and I do not want them to get mad or to say anything bad towards me.  He is telling me that the secret to win favor and good name in the sight of others and of course of Him are to maintain the love and faithfulness in my heart.

 

 

PROMISE

12 because the Lord discipines those he loves,

as a father the son he delights in.

1. Starting today, I will stop pleasing men by agreeing in what they want but rather I will start to show my love to them by telling what is true and proper no matter if it will hurt them.  But I will make sure that by rebuking or correcting others, I will first ask God in prayer to lead me and to give me that compassionate heart so that I will be able to express and show my love to them.
2. Today, I will be more faithful to God by making His my priority, faithful to my family by being faithful to my wife and being a good father to my kids, and faithful to the church by doing the task that the Lord has given me with excellence.

I will proclaim the decree of the Lord:

MESSAGE

I am so blessed!  Today, God reaasuring me that I am His son through my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!  He reminded me today, as I continually declaring His One and Only Begotten Son Jesus, He wll be my Father forever!

 

 

PROMISE

8 ...and I will make the nations your inheritance,

the ends of the earth your possession.

 

9 You will rule them with an iron scepters,

you will dash them to pieces like pottery."

 

12b Blessed are all who take refuge in him.

APPLICATION

1. Starting today, I will do my very best-in my job, in my family and in the ministry, because my Father is the Best and only deserve the best!  In my job/work, I will come on time.  With my family, I will share more time with time and in the ministry, I will start fix everything, one by one starting with the CMT, and be focused.  TARGET DATE: FEB. 2012
2. I will desire more to know my Father and His will.  I will give my 10% time minimum (2 hours and 24 minutes) everyday to my Father-reading His Word, in prayer, MPCWA and/or worship songs.
3. Starting today, I will try to always imitate Jesus in every way by applying "What would Jesus do if He is in this situation?"



Nov. 19, 2012 Are You Listening?

Proverbs 1:33

but whoever listens to me will live in safety

and be at ease, without fear of harm.

 

 

 

 

MESSAGE

The Lord is telling me today that I will be in safety in everything I will do if I keep on listening to Him.  He is assuring me not to fear as along I am hearing and listening to His voice.  He will make my life easier.

23 If you had responded to my my rebuke,

I will have poured out my heart to you and

made my thoughts known to you.

8 Listen, my son, to your father's instruction

and do not forsake your mother's teaching.

1. Starting today, I will always read my Bible regularly.  I will set 10-11PM as my appointed time with God
2. I will make sure that I will do my devotion/MPCWA everyday starting today
3. I will get a copy of those prayer request item from WIN and start praying for those who needs prayer to quicken my spiritual prayer life.  I will keep the Prayer Request Logbook when Sis. Diana/Sis Roschelle were done in recording those previous prayer request.  Target Date: December 2, 2012

Nov. 26, 2012 Called, Chosen & Appointed

  

Proverbs 8:23

I was appointed from eternity,

from the beginning, before the world began.

 

 

 

MESSAGE

Thank You Lord!  He is reminding me again and assuring me that He is the one who called, chose and appointed me.  He is telling me that appointment was from Him and that was His plan since the beginning of my existence.  He is also confirming it to me that since He is the One who planned and designed my life, this appointment will be eternity.

 

 

PROMISE

18 With me are riches and honor,

enduring wealth and prosperity.

35 For whoever finds me finds life

and receives favor from the Lord.

10 Choose my instructioninstead of silver,

knowledge rather than choice gold,

APPLICATION

1. Starting today, I will embrace and be grateful everyday for this great honor and privilige that God has given me.  I will take care and give reverent to the calling of God to myself.  I will learn to accept in my heart and believe that I was called, chosen and appointed by God.
2. Starting today, I will do my very best to contribute in the multiplication of His ministry.  I will seek opportunity to serve and to evangelize. 
3. I will seek and attend every opportunity to be mentored by pastors like attending Mentoring Seminars, seeking advice, asking help and use every knowledge I will gain through teaching and experience to pursue excellence in the ministry that God entrusted to me.

Nov. 27, 2012 Count Me In!

 

Matthew 9:37-38

 

Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful

but the workers are few.  Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore,

to send out workers into his harvest field."

 

 

MESSAGE

The Lord is reminding me today that He is the one who called me and send me out as His worker to His harvest field.  He taught me today to always call to Him everytime I feel tired, weary and burden in His field.  He assured me today that when I pray, He will send out more workers to be my help in His ministry.

APPLICATION

1. Starting December 1, 2012, I will establish and strengthen my prayer time and devotion.  I will set 10-11PM as my prayer time everyday
2. I will regularly doing my MPCWA before I go work or after my work starting December 1, 2012
3. I will refuse to acknowledge, starting today, the idea of resigning in the ministry unless someone will be used by God to remove me in the ministry.  That will be the time that I know it is the Lord and it is His Will not mine.

Proverbs 10:19

When words are many, sin is not absent,

MESSAGE

God is reminding me today that I should be very careful with my words.  He is telling me today that I should talk if I need to and say only the word that is necessary yet truthful.

 

 

PROMISE

3 The Lord does not let the righteous hungry but he thwarts the craving of the wicked

24 What the wicked dreads will overtake him; what the righteous desire will be granted

27 The fear of the Lord adds length to life, but the years of the wicked are cut short

30 The righteous will never be uprooted, but the wicked will not remain in the land.

10 He who winks maliciously causes grief, and a chattering fool comes to ruin.

APPLICATION

1. Starting today, I should be very careful with every word I'll say.  I should minimize to engage in a worldly conversations. 
2. On December 1, 2012 I will start reading and watching religious articles to enhance my awareness and knowledge and to be able to bring up religious topic when surrounded by "unbelievers". 
3. I will more often talk to my pastors, matured leaders and committed and devotted workers of the church until my words are naturally Spirit-filled.

 

 

 

 

 

 



Nov. 29, 2012 My Hiding Place

Psalms 11:1

In the Lord I take refuge.
How then can you say to me:
"Flee like a bird to your mountain.

 

 

 

 

MESSAGE

The Lord is reminding me again that He is my refuge, my shelter and my strong tower.  People may fail me, disappointment me, frustrates me or even caused discouragement, but He will never ever hurt me.  All I need to do is run towards Him and He will always have an open arms to accept me, to comfort me and to love me always.

 

PROMISE

7 For the Lord is righteous, he loves justice;

upright men will see his face.

 

 

COMMAND

 

 

WARNING

6 On the wicked he will rain

fiery coals and burning sukfur;

a scorching wind will be their lot.

 

 

APPLICATION

1. Starting today, I will always seek God first in everything-in every decision I will make, in every plan I will have, in every pain and hurt I may face.  I will always bring my Bible (not electronic but literally the Book) with me.
2. I will start praying and looking for someone asides from my wife, Jennifer and my daughter Vianca who will honestly rebukes, corrects, reminds and asks me in my face if I seek God first through reading His Word regarding with my decision, plan and response from any situation that I may encounter and ask me to share the Word I received from the Lord.
3. In one month time startting today, I will let someone to assess my improvement and change in this area.  For now, I will ask my wife, Jennifer to do the assessment and then next month I will ask someone (I will pray for this person starting today) to do the assessment of myself.

Proverbs 12:1
Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge,
but he who hates correction is stupid.

^{God is telling me today that I should be opened for correction all the time.  He is reminding me that, for me to receive the knowledge and wisdom I am asking for, I should welcome corrections positively and wholeheartedly.}

1. Starting tomorrow, I will mingle, laugh, eat, cry and have fellowship openly with my leaders and pastors.  I will accept, welcome and acknowledge their opinions, corrections and will take it as help for me to learn and grow in the ministry.

2.  Starting tomorrow, I will be more open and honest to myself to to others especially to my leaders and pastors.  I will seek their advice and will treat it as a help and I will open up and voice out if I am not comfortable with the ideas or suggestions.

3.  Starting tomorrow, I will stop proving myself to them but rather will start approving that they are God-appointed leaders that God sent to me for the fulfillment of my calling.
